The storefront at 2916 Sunset Avenue, with the Game Nook, Geek Valhalla and Trade it! signs above the entrance and free parking directly in front of the door.
Head for the doors at 2916. Game Nook is inside Geek Valhalla, and our logo rotates onto the LED sign out front.

Finding the door

Worth thirty seconds if it's your first visit — we're one of several shops under one roof.

Look for Geek Valhalla

That's the building. Game Nook is one of the shops inside, along with Trade it! and the others.

Watch the LED sign

The sign out front rotates through the shops inside, and our logo comes up on it regularly — wait a few seconds and you'll see us.

The number is 2916

It's on the glass beside the entrance doors. If you can read 2916, you're in the right place.

Park in front

The lot is free, unmetered and steps from the entrance. No garage, no ticket, no walk across town.

Ramp at the curb

There are no stairs. A single six-inch curb separates the lot from the walkway, with an accessible ramp alongside it.

Getting here

Conveniently at the hub of I-95 and US-64, we're a short trip from Wilson, Tarboro, Greenville or even the Triangle.

From I-95, exit 138C puts you straight onto Sunset Avenue about two miles from our door — an easy way in.

In Rocky Mount

What to expect inside

Game Nook is proud to be a part of Geek Valhalla, an indoor mall without walls that gives entrepreneurs a way to open the collectibles store of their dreams.

When you enter, you'll see Game Nook's front displays right at Geek Valhalla's front counters. To find the rest of us, head to the back right and look up for our department signs. Keep going and you'll run into our play space — please walk through and spectate if there's an event going on.

Game Nook's retail floor: board games including Catan and Exploding Kittens on wire shelving, Game Nook T-shirts on a rack, and department signs hanging overhead.

The shop

A full retail floor, not a counter with a few shelves behind it. Seven categories are stocked properly — cards, board and classic games, miniatures, video games, dexterity games, roleplaying and building games.

  • Geek Valhalla employees are happy to help with any questions about Game Nook's merchandise. If our staff are there, they'll be running events and stocking our shelves — please ask about your favorite games or for help with any merchandise.
  • Bring games to sell or trade by appointment

The play space

  • Organized play every week — see what's on
  • Rent a table for $5 cash or a $10 store purchase, and it comes with a wall full of games to play
  • A functional paint bar, equipped for painting with your friends
  • An ever-growing rulebook library
