Where is Game Nook?
2916 Sunset Ave, Space 519, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 — inside Geek Valhalla, a couple of minutes off I-95, with free parking directly in front of the door.
What are your hours?
Monday to Saturday 10am–7pm, Sunday 12pm–6pm. We're closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, Easter and July 4th.
Are you open late on event nights?
Some events run past our 7pm close. Once we've closed to the public, the store stays open to event entrants only — so come before 7 if you also want to shop.
Is the store wheelchair accessible?
Yes. There are no stairs; a single six-inch curb from the parking lot has an accessible ramp alongside it. Aisles in Game Nook are at least 4 ft wide, and the main Geek Valhalla walkways are 5 ft.
Is parking free?
Yes — free, unmetered, and steps from the entrance.
What kinds of games do you carry?
Seven categories: trading card games, board and classic games, miniature games, video games, dexterity and sports games, tabletop roleplaying, and building games.
Do you have an online store?
Yes — our TCG singles are on TCGplayer.
Can you special order something?
We take special orders on our Discord and can see if we can get the specific item you're looking for.
Do you buy and trade games?
Yes — replayable games and game accessories such as trading cards, video games, board games, miniatures and tabletop roleplaying supplies. Book an appointment for cash or store credit.
What's your return policy?
A 7-day exchange warranty — bring your receipt. See warranty & returns for the details.
Can I play games in store?
Yes. There's a dedicated play space with organized play every week. Outside events you can rent a table for $5 cash or a $10 store purchase — it comes with a wall full of games to play. Tables are as available, so ask on Discord before a busy night.
Can I rent the paint bar?
Yes — each seat rents like a table: $5 cash or a $10 store purchase, while space permits. See the paint bar.
Do I need to book for events?
It depends on the event — ask on Discord.
Can you check whether something's in stock?
Call our friends at Geek Valhalla on (252) 210-3081 during shop hours. Much better than driving from Wilson and finding out we sold the last one.
